PART ONE

Knock, knock, knock. “Hello?” said the weary voice inside the house.

“Hey man, what’s up?” said Frenzy. The door slowly opened.

“Oh hey, I totally knew that was you.” said the half hidden Jacks Jr.

“Of course you did. Anyways, are you ready to go to trick or treat at the broken down old house we pass every day?” said Frenzy, “Eleanor is waiting for us.” Eleanor was a short, skinny, little nerd but she was a great friend. Eleanor’s real name was Elizabethan but can you imagine saying “Come here Elithabethan. I have something for you, Elithabethan. Your shoe is untied, Elithabethan.” It even takes up ¼ of my page just to say that word.  So in the end, we all just get too tired to say her name so we have to deal with sitting by an Eleanor during Math class.

“Alrighty, let me grab my hat and then we can go.” Jacks Jr. scurried up the half broken steps and tumbled down with a worn out hat that looked like it was for a 4-year-old. Jacks Jr. locked the door and headed out with his friend Frenzy.

“Do you mind?” said a little voice coming from the ground. Frenzy and Jacks Jr. looked down at what seemed a midget. “This fake blood on my face isn’t symmetrical.” said the little voice again.

“Well, fix your blood on the way. We gotta get going Eleanor,” said Frenzy. Eleanor didn’t budge. Frenzy blinked twice very fastly at Jacks Jr. and Jacks Jr. just nodded. Jacks Jr. sounds like a name you don’t hear for people that big usually but Jacks Jr. started out as a short, 8 ounce, stubby baby. That was all until he had an amazing growth spurt at the age of 5. He then became the tallest kid in all grades. He was even taller than some teachers.

PART TWO

“Finally, we have arrived,” Eleanor groaned. “It felt like my feet were going to fall off.”

“Yeah, I can’t believe somebody dressed up as Barney for Halloween,” Jacks Jr. chuckled. Frenzy and Eleanor extended looks then looked up at Jacks Jr. Frenzy was about to say something when Jacks Jr. stopped him. “Anyways the important thing is that we are at the broken down house.”

“Umm guys,” Frenzy quietly said.

“What is it now Frenzy?” Jacks Jr. moaned.

“There is an old looking lady sitting by the window,” Frenzy gulped. Eleanor and Jacks Jr. looked into the window and saw an old looking girl or very short lady.

“Geeze if that is a little girl then she needs to do some plastic surgery for her face,” Jacks Jr. noted.

“I think you are missing the point Jacks Jr,” Eleanor boredly said.

“I am?” Jacks Jr. confusedly said.

“Yes, the point is that somebody lives there and that person is probably a witch,” Frenzy exclaimed.

“Oh ya. He, he, he,” Jacks Jr. chuckled quietly.  Frenzy sighed and moved on followed by Eleanor. Frenzy carefully opened the gate and stopped to look at the sight. There were crooked trees and smashed windows. The door looked like it hadn’t been used in years. How could anybody live in there Eleanor thought. Weeds sprouted from the grass almost everywhere. Not one thing of beauty could be found anywhere there. Not unless you were some kind of monster, alien, or Dracula’s great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandkid which also falls into the category of monsters.

Now let’s try not to waste any more paper on the Dracula family. The girl sitting by the window now was gone and left no trace of her being there. “Brrr” it sounded like a machine was getting ready to run. “Broom vvv broom pfft.”

“Do you guys hear anything or is it just me?” Eleanor whispered.

“I was just about to ask the same thing,” Jacks Jr. almost silently said. “What about you, Frenzy.” No reply came. “Frenzy?”

“Frenzy.” Eleanor gasped. Jacks Jr. turned around to see Frenzy inside the house sitting in a chair with some kind of brain helmet on.

“What’s going on Eleanor?” Jacks Jr. shakily said. “Eleanor, Please don’t tell me you’re gone too.” Indeed Eleanor was gone too. She sat right next to Frenzy wearing a brain cap too.

“Great, now I am next. Why do I have to be last.” Jacks Jr. was pacing back and forth when he heard a voice.

“Come, my friend, come. Come to your death.” The voice groaned and while he spoke there were chains rattling like the voice was in jail. Jacks Jr. thought and decided he was too smart to fall in such trap.

“Why would I want to die?” Jacks Jr. thought again. “Who would be dumb enough to fall in such a trap.”

“Blink 3 times to meet your precious little friends again.” The voice cracked again.

“Now that’s something I might do. Well… yeah doesn’t sound like a scam so it’s a deal creepy dude.” Jacks Jr. blinked 3 times nice and hard and found himself in a virtual world with his friends.

“There you are Jacks Jr.” Eleanor screamed.

“Yeah whatever I was actually getting kinda used to it being quiet for once.” Frenzy said.

“He is a bit grumpy.” Eleanor boredly said.

“Why?” Jacks Jr. asked.

“When he went through the brochure to this place they added in a jump scare to the program.” Eleanor laughed. “I still can’t believe he fell for it!”

“It’s not funny. I guarantee you that if you were me you would of peed your pants.”

Frenzy angrily said.

“Wait, there is a brochure?” Jacks Jr. asked.

“Ya it is acutely pretty helpful it gives you directions on how to get out of here.” Eleanor examined.

“Well they trapped us here why are they going to let us out?” Jacks Jr. questioned.
